Role & Responsibilities


As a contributing reporter, you will:

  1. 1. Pitch story ideas aligned with our editorial focus—Bangladesh politics, society, culture, and global developments.
  2. 2. Conduct thorough research, interviews, and fact-checking in accordance with our Code of Ethics:
  3. 2.1 Differentiate clearly between fact, analysis, and opinion
  4. 2.2 Verify information through multiple sources
  5. 2.3 Protect confidential sources and honor commitments of anonymity
  6. 3. Write clear, engaging articles (500–1,500 words) that meet our standards for accuracy, balance, and impartiality.
  7. 4. Submit polished drafts by agreed deadlines; respond promptly to editorial queries and revision requests.
  8. 5. Collaborate with multimedia teams when your story involves photos, infographics, or audio components.

Eligibility & Qualifications

We welcome reporters who:

  • 1. Hold at least an undergraduate degree (or equivalent experience) in journalism, communications, political science, or a related field (Freshers are encouraged to apply)

  • 2. Demonstrate a track record of news reporting or feature writing with verifiable clips or publications

  • 3. Exhibit a commitment to independent journalism free from political or commercial influence

  • 4. Uphold high standards of fairness, accuracy, and respect for privacy
